Our story
Not just a trip. An expedition into the wild.
The BagPack Tribe is a community for adventure seekers, founded by Tushar: a traveller who has explored 30+ countries and has been driving the roads of Ladakh and Spiti since 2014.
We keep our convoys small, plan every route with care and look after each other on the road. You bring the sense of adventure; we handle the stays, backup, permits and logistics.

Small, premium convoys
Only 15–18 vehicles per batch, so the roads, the stays and the campfire never feel crowded.
Medical, oxygen & backup
First-aid kits, oxygen cylinders and on-route mechanical backup travel with every convoy.
Road marshal & radios
An experienced road marshal leads every convoy, with walkie-talkies between cars so no one gets left behind.
Women prioritised
A hygienic, safe and welcoming environment, so everyone in the tribe can travel with confidence.

Motul is the official lubricant partner of The BagPack Tribe, keeping our convoys running on some of the toughest roads in the Himalaya, from the high passes of Ladakh and Zanskar to the frozen roads of winter Spiti.
